Just a mile due south of Bridport and well-connected to it by buses, West Bay is a bustling village with a selection of pubs and restaurants. The wide, sandy beach is divided in two by the harbour; to one side is the smaller, quieter East Beach, while to the other is West Beach. Dominated by the 50 metre-tall golden, sandstone cliffs, some of you may recognise it from ITV's Broadchurch.

From here there is a lovely cliff top walk to Burton Bradstock, just over a kilometre away.
