The separate, panelled dining room is the perfect spot to enjoy decadent late breakfasts or intimate evening suppers. The well-equipped kitchen includes an electric double oven with ceramic hob, slimline dishwasher, microwave, fridge and that all important Nespresso coffee machine. Here you will find all that you need to rustle up delicious meals using some of Dorset’s excellent local produce sourced at one of the many wonderful farm shops in the county. The stylish bathroom includes a roll-top bath, and separate walk-in shower enclosure.

The first floor of this gorgeous cottage has a double aspect bedroom with a king-size bed, beautifully dressed with designer linens The adjoining snug has a single iron day bed and study area complete with antique desk, and is a relaxing space in which to start writing about your holiday adventures, or ideal for friends who require separate beds. At the rear of the cottage, and accessed via French doors, is a lovely sunny enclosed courtyard with table, chairs and parasol, the perfect spot for your morning coffee, alfresco lunch or supper.

Great walks begin at the doorstep, with two fantastic iron-age hillforts close by, numerous footpaths in all directions, and the superb village pub is just a short stroll away. The village is ideally situated for days out in all directions, with the towns of Blandford, Dorchester, Wimborne and Shaftesbury all just a pleasant drive away, and numerous pretty villages all around.
