Rose Cottage (Dorset)

  • Rose Cottage (Dorset)

Rose Cottage is a beautiful, detached, Grade II listed, self-catering cottage, located in the charming village of Powerstock. Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty deep in West Dorset countryside.

With a bright and airy feel throughout, downstairs the welcoming kitchen/dining room is warmed by not one, but two Agas, with a central dining table, making holiday meal preparations a sociable event. After dinner, wander through to the cosy sitting room and gather around the wood burning stove, set within an impressive inglenook fireplace. A ground floor bathroom and utility room complete the downstairs accommodation. Upstairs are the three comfy bedrooms, a king-size, a twin and a single bedroom, along with a second family bathroom.

The front patio area is protected by hedging and houses garden furniture and a barbecue for alfresco dining. When you want to eat out, wander along to the local pub or a little further to Nettlecombe with another good pub.

Powerstock is mentioned in the Doomsday book and is located at the foot of the ancient Iron Age fort of Eggardon Hill. Numerous walks and cycle paths are accessible from the village.

With bags of character and charming features, Rose Cottage is a perfect base for your Dorset break.
