Now the parish church of Wimborne, the Minster has an illustrious past. Dating back over 1300 years the present day church is predominantly Norman in origin.
Inside are many points of interest including and astronomical clock, the second largest chained library in the country and the tombs of King Ethelred, the brother of Alfred the Great.
