Poole Harbour from the Air

An aerial photo of Poole Harbour. Although it is hard to grasp the scale it is allegedly the third biggest natural harbour in the World.

In the photo you can clearly see the tadpole shaped spit of land that is Sandbanks. On the other side of the entrance is the National Trust owned Studland.

The big island in the middle, Brownsea Island, is also owned by the National Trust. It is around 2Km at its widest point.

The islands to the left are Furzey and Green Islands
