The National Sailing Academy is situated in Portland Harbour and there are many water based activities to enjoy. Just over the causeway, Weymouth offers many traditional family attractions, centred on its award-winning sandy beach. Portland is ideally suited for visiting many famous attractions including Abbotsbury Gardens and Swannery, Lyme Regis to the west, and Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Swanage and the Isle of Purbeck to the east.
