There are many places of interest nearby, including Stourhead House and Garden, Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm Museum and the Haynes International Motor Museum. Slightly further afield there is Longleat House and Safari Park, Salisbury with its wonderful cathedral, the market town of Sherborne with its character shops and abbey, Sturminster Newton, and on to Poole and Weymouth with many exciting attractions to enjoy. Locally there are lovely country walks, golf, and many village pubs where you can enjoy an evening meal. Shop ½ mile, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.
