Pilsdon Farm Cottages are located in the middle of the beautiful Marshwood Vale in the heart of West Dorset, and near the famous Jurassic Coast, with its stunning coastal scenery and seaside resorts of Lyme Regis, Charmouth and West Bay. These two well-presented terraced cottages are situated on the owners’ working dairy farm. Heather Cottage (ref UKC3376) offers a lovely wood burner for those cosy evenings in and can accommodate up to six guests. Benoy Cottage (ref UKC3378) provides ground floor accommodation for two guests. The cottages can be booked independently or together, and offer a lovely location to enjoy the very best of West Dorset.\n\nIn the surrounding area there are opportunities for country walking and admiring the scenery, or simply relaxing. Guests can also choose to spend days out taking advantage of the many attractions and places to visit in the area. Within easy driving distance, you can be soaking up the seaside atmosphere at either West Bay, the scene of the TV series Broadchurch, or Lyme Regis with its romantic and famous Cobb. There is a variety of seaside activities available here ranging from boating, fishing, canoeing and swimming, or fossil hunting on the Jurassic Coast. The coastal walking is superb, and for the adventurous perhaps a walk to the top of Golden Cap, the highest point on the south coast, followed by some food and drink in the pub waiting at the bottom.\n\nInland you can visit the craft centres at Broadwindsor or Symondsbury, enjoy some wine tasting at Furleigh Estate at Salway Ash, or call in at Mapperton House and Gardens or Forde Abbey and Gardens. All along the coast are lovely family attractions, be it Seaton Tramway, The Donkey Sanctuary at Sidmouth, or Abbottsbury Swannery and Tropical Gardens. You also have the county town of Dorchester to wander around with its many museums, and of course Weymouth, Portland and beyond to the Purbecks. Beach 6¼ miles.
